Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Law Clerk role based in Toronto, ON. The Law Clerk will assist with the preparation, review, and organization of legal documents, including contracts, corporate records, and compliance-related materials. Daily responsibilities include conducting legal and factual research, summarizing findings, and maintaining organized files and databases. The role involves drafting correspondence, supporting communication with internal stakeholders and external counsel, and tracking deadlines for filings and agreements. The Law Clerk will also help ensure adherence to relevant laws and regulations, support internal policies, and contribute to process improvements within the legal function. Qualifications Candidates should possess foundational knowledge of Law and familiarity with corporate and commercial legal concepts. Candidates should possess strong Legal Document Preparation skills, including drafting, formatting, and organizing contracts and legal correspondence. Candidates should possess effective Communication skills, including clear written and verbal communication with legal and non-legal stakeholders. Candidates should possess solid Research and Writing skills for case law review, regulatory research, and preparing summaries or reports. Diploma or degree in Law Clerk, Paralegal Studies, Legal Administration, or a related field is preferred. Strong attention to detail, discretion in handling confidential information, and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Proficiency with standard office software and legal document management tools; experience in corporate or commercial law settings is an asset. Eligibility to work on-site in Toronto, ON and willingness to collaborate as part of a cross-functional team.
