Paralegal - Transactional Law – Eastern Township Would you like to join a law firm that offers a hybrid work model? As a Corporate Paralegal, you will work on large-scale corporate and transactional files as part of a team with many colleagues. Located in Sherbrooke, our client offers excellent working conditions, a friendly corporate culture, competitive compensation, and a range of highly competitive benefits, including free parking. YOUR ROLE: Develop closing agendas and draft all documents related to transactions, mergers/acquisitions, reorganizations, and business sales; Prepare documents necessary for incorporation, registration, organization, and liquidation of companies and file corporate documents; Perform annual updates and maintain minute books; Monitor the transaction process, organize closing documents, and perform post-transaction tasks. SKILLS REQUIRED: DCS in paralegal technology or other combination of relevant training/experience; Experience in a similar role in corporate law; Bilingualism, French and English (read, spoken, and written); Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; Analytical skills and professional judgment; Attention to detail, thoroughness, and initiative; Good communication skills; Ability to take charge of and manage projects and initiatives; Proactivity, versatility, and strong organizational and prioritization skills.
