About the Job As a paralegal, you will provide comprehensive support to the partners and lawyers of the firm with legal and administrative procedures, activities, and documentation. To be a successful paralegal, you will need to have excellent organizational skills and attention to detail is a must. Responsibilities: Specific duties of a paralegal may vary depending on the needs of the firm; this is not a comprehensive or exhaustive list of responsibilities. Conduct research and gather relevant information to support case preparation Assist in drafting legal documents, such as contracts, pleadings, and briefs Organize and maintain case files, ensuring all documents are accurately filed and easily accessible Coordinate with lawyers and clients to gather necessary information and documentation Prepare and update case reports, including monitoring deadlines and upcoming court appearances Assist in trial preparation, including organizing exhibits, witness lists, and trial binders Provide administrative support, including answering phone calls, scheduling meetings, and managing calendars Requirements: Proven experience as a Paralegal or similar role Paralegal or legal assistant diploma or related post-secondary education Proficient in legal research and document drafting Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills Exceptional written and verbal communication abilities Ability to work independently and handle multiple tasks simultaneously Proficient in using legal software and databases Experience in litigation is an asset Bilingual in French and English is an asset Benefits: At Fidelis Law Droit, we believe in investing in our team members' growth and well-being. Requirements

Candidates should have legal research and drafting skills, strong organization and communication abilities, and the capacity to work independently and manage multiple tasks; litigation experience and French-English bilingualism are assets.
