The ideal candidate will assist with a variety of business and legal matters, including drafting and reviewing legal documents, coordinating document execution, maintaining records, and managing franchise and lease data. As part of the Legal team, you will collaborate closely with the Operations, Accounting, and other departments to support the company’s business needs. Responsibilities & Duties: Ensure that negotiated terms between MTY and franchisees are accurately reflected in final franchise agreements and related documents; Draft and review various types of legal notices and other legal documentation; Process disbursement requests from the Operations teams; Input key legal information into MTY’s database; and Act as a bridge to facilitate communication across internal departments. Qualifications and Requirements: Enthusiastic, resourceful, and service-minded team player. Strong organizational and time management skills. Ability to multi-task while paying great attention to detail. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook. Fluency in both English and French (written and verbal) is required (at least 75% of the work and documentation is in English). Customer service or client relations experience considered an asset. Note: Full training will be provided. No prior experience required. Please note that any offer of employment will be conditional upon a background check, including a criminal record check.
