As a Legal Intern, this is your track to inhouse legal experience. You will gain valuable and diverse experience supporting the legal team with contract management, and assisting corporate counsel to execute on various transactional matters. You’ll find yourself constantly challenged and excited about the next big thing.

About You
Educated: Currently studying with a 70% average or higher at a top-tier Canadian Law School, having completed at least the first year of legal study before May 2023
Organized: You have excellent organization, prioritization, and time management skills
Detail-oriented: You have a keen eye for the little things, and you’re comfortable working with granular details
Communicative: Whether written or verbal, people know what you mean, what you are asking for, and what is expected
Proficient: Interest or experience in legal work, contracts, and legal operations and administration. Familiarity with Google Suite programs is an asset
Key Responsibilities
Shadowing in-house lawyers on corporate, commercial, securities, employment, intellectual property, and privacy law projects
Reviewing, updating, and managing legal templates and precedents
Supporting the legal team with contract workflow, document creation, and record keeping
Assisting corporate counsel to execute various corporate governance, M&A, and more
Participating in internal and interdepartmental team meetings
Researching trending developments in pertinent areas of Canadian, US, and Global law
