We are currently seeking a New Business Intake Administrator to join our Vancouver team within our Accounting department.


This position is for a team player who is proactive with a strong work ethic, can handle a busy workload, and who has a keen eye for detail. The ideal candidate will have a strong client service focus, the ability to multi-task, have solid analytical and organizational skills, and excellent communication skills.


What you’ll be doing:

  • Key responsibilities: manage the administration of new business intake process and data entry of same;
  • Basic accounts payable/accounts receivable tasks;
  • Basic trust-related tasks;
  • Processing client disbursements;
  • Communicating information to all level of staff;
  • Responding to queries regarding file opening;
  • Some overtime may be required during peak season;
  • Perform other duties as required.

What you'll bring:

  • An aptitude for administrative processes, and quality control;
  • Previous work experience in a legal environment is an asset;
  • Able to follow instructions and ask clarifying questions as required;
  • Must have intermediate working knowledge of Microsoft Office programs (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, etc.);
  • Advanced level communications, both verbal and written;
  • Critical thinker;
  • Resourceful;
  • Aptitude to learn quickly, particularly in relation to software, processes, programs, etc;
  • Strong attention to detail;
  • Keen desire to take on new challenges with a positive attitude;
  • Professional manner in communicating with others;
  • Strong organization, multi-tasking, and teamwork skills.

The salary range for this position is $46,000-$51,000 per annum, dependent on years/relevance of individual experience.
