Corporate Paralegal | Halifax
Cox & Palmer is a
SUMMARY OF RESPONSIBILITIES
We are seeking a permanent,
∙Attend to incorporations, amendments, continuances, amalgamations, dissolutions and revivals of provincial and Federal entities
∙Process due diligence requests
∙Prepare and file PPSA registrations
∙Review and maintain corporate minute books
∙Attend to the registration of partnerships and business names, extra provincial registrations, and limited partnerships
∙Submit filings with the provincial corporate registries, Industry Canada, and other licensing authorities
∙Record billable and
∙Attend to other duties as assigned
SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS
∙Successful completion of paralegal diploma or equivalent, and 5+ years’ experience as a Corporate Paralegal or a similar position
∙Excellent technical skills and exceptional attention to detail
∙
∙Strong competency in the usage of MS Office
∙Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to meet tight deadlines
∙Ability to use good judgment and be resourceful
∙Ability to communicate in a professional manner with colleagues and clients
∙Willingness to learn and contribute to the team
∙Experience with REGIS, an asset
∙Experience with a corporate management database, an asset
∙Experience with SEDAR, an asset
