Job Description

We are currently seeking a full-time Law Clerk to join the Teva Canada team!

A strong team player with excellent organizational skills, the law clerk will provide contract support and administrative work that involves a broad range of duties including drafting of correspondence, entering file data into the electronic contract management system, managing firm bill payment and retainers, arranging for execution and delivery of documents, and maintaining company legal records all while maintaining confidentiality and discretion.

Tasks will include but will not be limited to:

  • Preparation of correspondence, presentation, spreadsheets and other documents using various software including Microsoft Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, Docusign, and Adobe
  • Maintaining contract filing system and filing documents using Teva’s electronic management software
  • Drafting/revising agreements based on lawyers' comments and communicating with opposing counsel
  • Administrative duties as required such as managing calendars, coordinating meetings, assisting with expenses, and making travel arrangements
  • Supporting Government Relations including with lobbyist reporting


  • Required: Degree, certificate or diploma in a Legal or Paralegal program. Preferred: Post-Secondary education or equivalent
  • 3+ years’ progressive experience in legal roles in medium to large commercial organization
  • Solid typing computer and typing skills: proficiency in the MS Office environment
  • Possesses strong interpersonal skills and ability to work independently as well as in a team environment
  • Corporate experience, preferably in the Pharmaceutical industry and knowledge of contract management is a strong asset
