As the Administrative Assistant – Litigation, you provide operational support for the unit's specific activities and processes that involve processing, analyzing and following up with the file manager using activity reports, summaries, statistics, etc.

More specifically, you assist litigation lawyers in Desjardins General Insurance Group's legal department.

Additional Responsibilities

  • Complete documents requiring attention to detail and specialized knowledge (e.g., legal, accounting and financial documents).
  • Use specialized computer applications to support the unit's operational processes.
  • Carry out various operational activities related to the unit's business processes (extracting and processing data, doing research and data analysis, following up on requests from internal and external clients, applying programs and policies, sending documents, etc.).
  • Serve as a resource person for the unit's operations.
  • Help develop and implement procedures to improve the unit's productivity.
  • Produce and send reports on a regular basis and analyze impacts on the unit's business processes.
  • Conduct quality control as part of the unit's business processes

  • High school diploma
  • A minimum of one year of relevant experience
