Role Description This is a full-time on-site role for a Legal Assistant/Law Clerk located in Vaughan, ON. The role involves drafting and preparing legal documents, managing case files, conducting legal research, and providing administrative support to attorneys. The Legal Assistant/Law Clerk will also ensure effective communication between clients and legal professionals while maintaining file organization and timely follow-ups in a fast-paced environment. Qualifications Proficiency in legal research, legal document preparation, and a strong understanding of legal procedures and compliance Excellent communication skills to interact with clients and team members effectively Organizational and administrative assistance expertise, including file management and calendar scheduling Experience working as a Legal Assistant or Law Clerk, with a focus on attention to detail and confidentiality Proficient in relevant software and document management tools Ability to work independently and collaborate within a team setting A diploma or certification in law clerk studies, legal administrative assistance, or a related field is preferred Experience in litigation support or familiarity with the practice areas of the firm is an asset
