Title: Senior Law Clerk (Corporate Governance & Securities) Location: Toronto (Hybrid: 3 days in-office) Duration: Contract (ASAP to May 31, 2027 with potential for extension/conversion) Compensation: T4: $65/hr-$68/hr | IC: $75/hr-$78/hr Are you an experienced securities and corporate governance law clerk looking to make an impact in the financial sector? We are seeking a Senior Law Clerk to join a collaborative Enterprise Board Governance team at a major financial institution in downtown Toronto! In this role, you will partner directly with legal counsel to support board operations, regulatory filings, and corporate secretarial initiatives. Key Responsibilities: Prepare and submit regulatory filings, proxy circulars, and insider reports (SEDI). Assist with board and committee meeting coordination, governance documentation, and records management. Support director compensation administration and shareholder services. Monitor corporate compliance, manage audit inquiries, and execute special governance projects. What You Bring: 5+ years of law clerk, paralegal, or legal experience supporting a public company. Mandatory background in Banking or Financial Services (FI). Registered Law Clerk (ILCO) or Certified Paralegal/Lawyer (LSO). Requirements

Candidates must be an ILCO Registered Law Clerk or an LSO-certified paralegal or lawyer, with expertise in securities law, public disclosures, and regulatory compliance.
