Aplin is partnering with our long-term client, a respected Edmonton law firm, to hire an experienced Residential Real Estate Paralegal. This is a senior-level opportunity for a detail-oriented professional with 10+ years of experience to join a collaborative real estate team. The successful candidate will support lawyers with residential real estate transactions, manage files from start to finish with minimal supervision, and provide exceptional service to clients, banks, and stakeholders. Key Responsibilities Support lawyers with residential real estate transactions Conduct Land Titles, tax, and PPR searches Prepare and review purchase, mortgage, and other real estate documents Register and discharge Land Titles documents Manage trust funds related to transactions Draft correspondence and legal documents with minimal supervision Proofread documents for accuracy and formatting Provide file status updates to banks, clients, and stakeholders Manage multiple files while ensuring accuracy and strong client service What We're Looking For 10+ years of experience as a Residential Real Estate Paralegal Strong knowledge of Land Titles, tax, and PPR searches Experience preparing and reviewing purchase, mortgage, and real estate documents Proficiency in registering and discharging Land Titles documents Experience managing trust funds Ability to draft correspondence and legal documents with minimal supervision Exceptional attention to detail and proofreading skills Strong organizational and file management abilities Excellent communication and client service skills Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities Compensation & Benefits Salary: $75,000 – $85,000 per annum, commensurate with experience Work Week: 35 hours Vacation: 3 or 4 weeks with personal days Benefits: Comprehensive health and dental coverage Retirement: Group RRSP and employer contribution program Why This Role?
