About the role

About the Company Our client is a well-established and respected law firm in Burlington, is seeking a Corporate Law Clerk to join their team.

Responsibilities Maintain and organize corporate records and minute books for Ontario and federal corporations Prepare and file corporate documents, including incorporations, amendments, amalgamations, continuances, dissolutions, and annual filings Draft routine corporate documentation, including resolutions, share issuances, transfers, and director/officer changes Assist lawyers with corporate reorganizations, transactions, and due diligence Conduct corporate name searches and other regulatory searches as required Ensure ongoing corporate compliance and coordinate annual maintenance requirements Liaise with clients, government agencies, and third-party service providers Manage multiple files while maintaining accuracy and meeting deadlines

Requirements 8+ years of experience as a Corporate Law Clerk in a law firm Strong knowledge of Ontario and federal corporate law procedures and filings Experience maintaining corporate records and minute books Excellent organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail Ability to prioritize competing deadlines in a fast-paced environment Strong written and verbal communication skills Proficiency with corporate database and document management software Self-motivated, dependable, and committed to providing exceptional client service

Compensation Salary up to $80,000, commensurate with experience Comprehensive benefits package Fully in-office position based in Burlington Supportive and collaborative team environment
