Taxation Manager
About the role
Key Responsibilities
Preparation and review of income tax returns and tax computations. Preparation of advance tax and self-assessment tax workings. Review and analysis of balance sheets and financial statements from a direct tax perspective. Handling tax assessments, appeals, notices, and departmental submissions. Assisting in tax planning and advisory assignments. Conducting tax research and keeping abreast of changes in direct tax laws. Liaising with consultant and internal teams to ensure timely tax compliance.
Requirements
Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA). 2–4 years of relevant experience in Direct Tax. Strong knowledge of the Income-tax Act and direct tax compliances. Experience in preparing advance tax workings, reviewing balance sheets, and handling tax assessments. Good analytical, communication, and drafting skills. Proficiency in MS Excel and tax compliance software.
