DuMoulin Boskovich LLP is a full service firm with locations in Vancouver, Kelowna and Vernon, BC. We are seeking an experienced (5+ years) litigation paralegal to join our team in the Kelowna or Vernon office.

The ideal candidate will enjoy variety in their work as we require assistance with preparations of application material; trial documents, warranty submissions in both provincial and supreme court.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Preparing correspondence and agreements;
• Court filing and correspondence with other third party entities;
• Ordering documents with BC Online and BC Business Registry
• Communicating with clients, agents and government offices
• Billing, filing, photocopying and scanning
• Prepare litigation checklists and calculate court deadlines and conduct money

Key qualifications and skills:

• Paralegal diploma
• 5+ years of related experience
• Strong knowledge of procedure, rules and filing requirements applicable to all level of court and administrative tribunals relevant to our workplace practice
• Strong computer and document production skills (proficiency with MS Office)
• Strong attention to detail, ability to multi-task
• Ability to work well independently and as part of a team
• Ability to maintain strict confidentiality and high ethical standards
