We are seeking a Legal Assistant for an existing vacancy within our General Litigation Department. This role provides administrative support through a variety of responsibilities, including intermediate billing entries, client communication, and file opening and closing procedures. The position is based in our London office. Qualifications: 2-8 years’ experience supporting a litigation practice Post-secondary education (Legal Assistant/Law Clerk/Paralegal) Above average interpersonal skills Strong organizational skills with the ability to be proactive and follow through Superior communication skills (both verbal and written) Detail-oriented Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and work to deadlines Strong drafting skills Strong client service skills Above average keyboarding/computer skills (primarily Word, Adobe and Outlook) Responsibilities: Preparation of retainer and referral agreements, and opening and closing files Attending to client intakes and day to day client communications Managing deadlines, scheduling of meetings, and court filings Drafting court documents, pleadings, and correspondence Obtaining documents, document assembly, and file organization Billing and accounting processes including preparation of client accounts and payment of invoices Filing and profiling Please submit your resume by clicking “Apply” within the posting on our Careers page.
