We are excited to offer a unique opportunity for an Intake Specialist / Investigator to join our Litigation Department. This hybrid role combines client intake, case assessment, and field-based investigative work, supporting potential clients through the early stages of their legal journey.
This position is ideal for someone who enjoys both client interaction and hands-on investigative work, including traveling to meet clients in their homes and other off-site locations
Key Responsibilities Handle incoming calls from potential clients with professionalism and empathy Evaluate prospective cases to determine alignment with firm criteria Build rapport quickly with clients over the phone and through in-person meetings Travel to client homes and off-site locations to conduct intake meetings, gather information, and support case development Perform field-based investigative activities, including collecting statements, documenting details, and assisting with early-stage case assessments Sign up clients within the local area as needed Accurately document client information and maintain organized records Schedule appointments and coordinate next steps in the intake process Assist with investigative tasks related to case development Manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment Perform other related duties as assigned
Qualifications & Experience Minimum 4 years of customer service experience (required) Sales experience considered a strong asset Case management experience (2+ years required) Experience in a law office (preferred) Experience in insurance adjusting or investigations (preferred) Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel locally to meet clients as required Strong organizational skills with the ability to multi-task and prioritize Excellent attention to detail and accuracy Strong work ethic with a self-starter mindset Exceptional oral and written communication skills Comfortable using general computer systems and typing efficiently Ability to adapt quickly in a dynamic, fast-paced environment A compassionate and professional approach when working with individuals experiencing difficult or traumatic situations
