Description
Webster Hudson & Coombe LLP is a medium size downtown law firm located in the heart of downtown Vancouver. Established in 1994, our team of solicitors and litigators have an established record of creativity, sound judgment and professional expertise in a variety of practice areas. We pride ourselves in providing reliable and innovative legal services and are seeking a full time Paralegal to join our litigation department specifically dealing with personal injury claims.

Salary Range: $70,000 - $80,000
Skills Required
successful completion of a paralegal program, the ability to manage the ICBC files of two busy litigators, be detailed oriented and have excellent organizational and time-management skills, be a self-starter and have a proven ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment, possess strong communication skills, both written and oral, strong attention to detail and prioritization skills
Tasks Include But Are Not Limited To
assisting lawyers in the preparation, development and handling of personal injury defence files for litigation, prepare pleadings including Responses to Civil Claim, List of Documents, drafting Chambers applications, reviewing files, identifying legal issues, ensuring relevant records and documents are obtained, assisting counsel in preparing for examinations for discovery, mediation and trials, coordinating and delegating to support staff time entry
The ideal candidate will have a minimum three years of litigation experience and be a graduate of an accredited paralegal program.
