Specializing in personal injury law, we are dedicated to achieving justice for victims of catastrophic injuries and wrongful deaths. Our offices throughout Denver, Aurora, Englewood, Fort Collins, and Colorado Springs reflect our commitment to accessible, client-centered legal support. Our firm has recovered over $1.5 billion for our clients, earning memberships in prestigious groups such as the Million Dollar Advocates Forum. We take pride in our recognition as one of Colorado’s Top 10 Personal Injury Attorneys. Beyond the courtroom, our dedication to community impact and our culture of growth, compassion, and excellence set us apart. The Technology Applications Manager at Bachus & Schanker will play a critical role in harnessing our legal technology to support strategic goals and operational efficiency. This role exists to transform and optimize the firm's legal technology ecosystem by configuring applications, developing workflows, and implementing automation solutions that support operational excellence. What you’ll do: Software Management: Oversee the day-to-day management, configuration, maintenance, and optimization of the firm's legal software platforms to ensure consistency, reliability, and scalability. System Configuration & Workflows: Configure SmartAdvocate and related applications by building workflows, templates, permissions, forms, automations, and releases that align with firm operations and leadership priorities. Automation & Integration: Design and implement automations, integrations, and AI-enabled solutions that reduce manual work, improve efficiency, and connect systems across the firm's technology ecosystem. Reporting & Process Improvement: Develop automated reports, dashboards, and system enhancements that provide leadership with actionable insights while identifying underutilized platform capabilities that improve operational performance. Technology Implementation: Translate documented business processes, procedures, and operational requirements into functional software configurations that support current operations, future acquisitions, and the firm's long-term growth initiatives. Training & Documentation: Train attorneys and staff, promote user adoption, and maintain documentation for system configurations, workflows, and process changes. Vendor & Project Coordination: Coordinate and oversee external technology vendors and technical specialists to deliver integrations, data initiatives, and application-related projects successfully. Internal Expertise: Serve as the firm's subject-matter expert on legal applications, advising leadership on system capabilities, improvements, and best practices.

What we’re looking for: Technical Expertise: Hands-on experience configuring and administering legal case-management systems or high-volume CRM platforms, including workflows, automations, templates, permissions, reporting, or releases. Workflow & Integration Experience: Proven success designing workflows, automations, integrations, and reporting solutions that improve operational efficiency. Communication & Training: Ability to communicate technical concepts clearly, train end users, and drive adoption across both technical and non-technical teams. Problem Solving: Strong analytical and systems-thinking skills with the ability to translate business requirements into effective technology solutions. Independent Execution: Ability to work independently, prioritize initiatives, and determine the best technical approach to achieving leadership objectives. SmartAdvocate Experience: Direct SmartAdvocate experience is strongly preferred; experience with Litify, Filevine, or comparable legal platforms is also valued. Vendor & Project Management: Experience coordinating external technology vendors or implementation partners while managing projects through completion. Technology Mindset: Sound judgment when implementing automation and AI solutions, with an emphasis on accuracy, confidentiality, and continuous process improvement. Why you should work here: Strategic Impact: Help transform the firm's technology ecosystem by implementing scalable solutions that improve efficiency and support long-term growth. Collaborative Environment: Work closely within a supportive and respectful team that values innovation and dedication. Growth Opportunities: Be at the forefront of modernizing the firm’s technology systems, supporting its expansion strategy. Leadership Engagement: Partner closely with Executive Leadership to implement high-impact technology initiatives and continuously improve firm operations. Additional perks: Retirement Savings: Access to a 401(k) plan as part of the firm's benefits program. Professional Development: Opportunity to lead meaningful technology initiatives with significant organizational visibility and ownership. Work Environment: Primarily based in the Denver office with regular travel to the firm's other Colorado offices. If you are ready to lead a pivotal role in transforming the legal technology landscape at Bachus & Schanker, and have the potential to innovate and enhance client services, we invite you to apply. Join us in our commitment to excellence and empathy, impacting the lives of our clients and the broader community.
