Because your attention to detail supports your colleagues to perform at their best, such as ensuring the timely and seamless transport of hearing aids and advanced medical devices that change lives. At Kuehne+Nagel, our work contributes to more than we imagine.

As a Paralegal, you will play a key role in supporting Kuehne+Nagel Canada's Legal team across commercial contracting, legal operations, corporate governance, and compliance activities. Working as a trusted member of the Legal team, you will help ensure efficient, consistent, and compliant legal processes while partnering with internal stakeholders across the business. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced corporate paralegal to contribute to a dynamic and growing legal function supporting one of the world's leading logistics organizations.

How you create impact

Draft, review, and manage routine commercial agreements while identifying and escalating non-standard legal matters where appropriate. Support contract intake, review, execution, and lifecycle management, including approvals, signatures, renewals, and expiry tracking. Maintain contract repositories, corporate records, and legal documentation to ensure accuracy, compliance, and audit readiness. Coordinate corporate governance activities, including resolutions, approvals, minute book updates, and related corporate filings in partnership with external legal advisors. Manage legal workflows and requests, ensuring timely completion and effective communication with internal stakeholders. Support legal operations initiatives by improving processes, standardizing documentation, and enhancing workflow efficiency. Partner with internal business teams and external stakeholders to facilitate legal documentation and commercial contracting activities. Assist with legal compliance requirements, governance initiatives, and regulatory record keeping. Conduct legal research, analyze findings, and provide recommendations to support business decisions and legal matters. Provide day-to-day legal administrative support, including document preparation, correspondence, tracking critical dates, and responding to routine legal inquiries.

What we would like you to bring

3+ years of experience working within a corporate legal department or law firm supporting commercial contracts and legal operations. Experience drafting, reviewing, and structuring commercial agreements. Knowledge of transportation, freight forwarding, customs brokerage, or logistics industries would be considered a strong asset. A Paralegal Licence from the Law Society of Ontario, completion of an accredited Law Clerk program, or an equivalent legal qualification. Experience supporting contract management processes and legal workflow systems; exposure to Contract Lifecycle Management (CLM) platforms is an asset. Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Strong attention to detail and a highly disciplined approach to legal documentation and process management. The ability to work independently, exercise sound judgment, and recognize when matters require escalation. Strong communication and relationship-building skills with the ability to collaborate across cross-functional teams. A proactive, solutions-focused mindset with high levels of professionalism, integrity, and confidentiality.
