Role Description

The position is based in Toronto, but approximately 80% of the work can be done remotely, with occasional in-person attendance required for client meetings and court hearings.

Responsibilities Manage a wide range of civil litigation and family law matters, draft legal documents including pleadings, contracts, affidavits, agreements, and correspondence, and attend examinations, mediations, and court proceedings as needed; Providing strategic legal advice and strong representation to clients Working both independently and collaboratively within a supportive team environment Maintaining organized and timely file management throughout all stages of each matter.

Qualifications Is licensed to practise law in Ontario and ingood standing with the Law Society of Ontario Has at least 1 year of civil litigation and/orfamily law experience Is willing and able to attend court Has strong legal drafting, advocacy,communication, and file-management skills Chinese(Mandarin/Cantonese) is an asset
