Primary Duties Include · Drafting legal documents (Prepare and revise court documents including but not limited to pleadings, affidavits, separation agreements, motion materials, minutes of settlement, and financial statements as required) · Drafting correspondence to clients and lawyers (Draft and send correspondence to the Court, opposing counsel, clients, and external parties, including support payment summaries and extraordinary expenses) · Liaise with process server to serve and file court documents · Schedule appointments and maintain appointment calendar · Coordinate arrangements for meetings/conferences and Court appearances · Maintain files/records with a high level of organization · PCLaw accounting, Leap DivorceMate · Other duties as required

Required Experience/Skills/Qualifications · Completion of a Law Clerk Program with a recognized institution · At least 5 years of Family Law litigation experience in Ontario · Knowledge of the Family Law Rules and Family Court process and procedure including timelines for service and confirmations of court documents · Must thrive under pressure and prioritize effectively while paying attention to detail · Strong work ethic and the ability to work well independently as well as in a team setting · Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written · Technical proficiency (MS Office Suite, PC Law, Leap DivorceMate)
