Role Description The Litigation Lawyer will manage a diverse portfolio of commercial and civil litigation matters, including corporate, real estate, and finance-related disputes. The successful candidate will assess legal issues, develop litigation strategies, draft pleadings, motions, and legal opinions, prepare evidence, and represent clients before courts, tribunals, and in alternative dispute resolution proceedings. From the outset of each mandate through its resolution, the lawyer will assume meaningful responsibility for files while delivering practical, strategic, and business-oriented legal advice.

Working closely with partners and clients, the Litigation Lawyer will play an integral role in developing litigation strategy, maintaining strong client relationships, and contributing to the continued growth of the firm's litigation practice. This is a full-time, hybrid position with offices in Laval and Montréal, Québec, offering meaningful client contact, courtroom experience, and the opportunity to build a sophisticated litigation practice within a collaborative, entrepreneurial environment.

Qualifications We're looking for someone who has: 2–5 years of civil and/or commercial litigation experience; Strong legal research, drafting, advocacy, and analytical skills; Experience appearing before Québec courts and tribunals; Excellent negotiation and client management abilities; Membership in good standing with the Barreau du Québec; Excellent written and oral communication skills in both French and English; The ability to manage multiple files independently while working collaboratively within a close-knit team. Experience in corporate, real estate, or finance-related litigation is considered a strong asset.
