Position Details Title: Senior Law Clerk Location: Hybrid 3 days in office weekly - Toronto Duration: 7-Month Contract (With high possibility of extensions and conversion) SUMMARY OF THE ROLE: Support the Enterprise Board Governance team in delivering board and committee governance, corporate secretarial, legal, and regulatory compliance activities. The candidate would be responsible for supporting legal, regulatory, and compliance-related activities by carrying out assignments and initiatives under the direction of the team’s legal counsel. Role Responsibilities: · Conduct legal and corporate governance research. · Prepare and submit regulatory filings and required disclosures. · Support director compensation administration processes. · Assist with shareholder services and related activities. · Monitor and track corporate compliance requirements. · Maintain and update governance records and documentation. · Support audit inquiries and regulatory information requests. · Assist in planning, coordinating, and executing board meetings. · Contribute to process improvement and governance enhancement initiatives. · Prepare governance reports and related reporting materials. · Participate in special projects within a fast-paced corporate governance environment.
