The Finance System Manager (FSM) Backfill is a senior member of the Canadian Finance team, is a key point of contact for Finance IT and a representative of the Finance department on major systems projects within the Canadian Region that have a potential impact on the Finance department.
He/she will be responsible for maintaining the functionality and effectiveness of the firm’s financial systems including Thompson Reuters Elite Enterprise Professional Management System (PMS - currently being upgraded to 3E), third party systems (Chrome River, Intapp Time, Intapp Open, Clarity Budgeting, Data Fusion Intellistat, ARCS, Redwood etc.), the Finance Reporting Portal including hoc reporting requests, and custom solutions designed to fill gaps not addressed by the PMS.
The Manager supports all users across the Canadian Region and troubleshoots and resolves all issues with the core PMS. In addition the Manager acts as the highest level, 3rd tier support, for all Finance Systems helpdesk tickets (generated from third party systems) from users across the Canada.
